Transponder Programmer "Tango" developer.
Orange-5 Programmer
Orange-5 Programmer is a professional general purpose programming device for memory and microcontrollers. Unique feature of the current series programmers is built-in macrolanguage for writing down protocols, which gives fast and easy capability to add new types of ICs, precisely meeting manufacturers' requirements to read/write algorithms.
Hardware Features:
Barracuda Programmer
Barracuda is a programming tool focused on solving variety of complex tasks and procedures, bypassing the limitations of standard approach and other solutions.
It is a standalone device, but some of the advanced functions are designed to work in conjuction with Tango.
System Requirements
Please note: External power supply adapter 9-24V, AC to DC, 5.5x2.1mm center positive plug is not included in the kit.
Some Barracuda functions are marked as "Subscription" in the features list. They are not included in "Base software" and require purchase of 1 Year Annual Subscription for Barracuda.
Other devices are required for some functions. Barracuda is made to completent Tango & Orange-5 as well as J2534 PassThru compiant OBD adapter (ex.: Tactrix Openport 2.0). There are complex functions that either require these devices too, or can be used synergistically to solve a complex task. Such interactions are documented in Barracuda help files.
Tango Key Programmer
The device is intended for programming of transponders, that are a part of automobile immobilizing systems.
The product is in working out stages, therefore the list of the supported transponders will be developed later. For the present moment Tango has the following built in makers and functions
The device has ergonomic design with high mechanical characteristics of IP65 class according to the DIN EN 60529 standard. The device has following dimensions:
The device enclosure is made of 3mm ABS-plastics with a rubber shock-proof damping seal which simultaneously is a decor element. The seal also prevents the device sliding on a work table surface.
The device derives the power from USB and does not demand connection of an external power source. Difference is use of drivers of other type that allows to avoid conflicts to other devices working through virtual ports.
Meeting modern requirements, Tango supports OS Vista. Supported versions of Windows:
