Openbox 3 is a universal flasher for programming ECUs equipped on VAZ, GAZ, UAZ, ZAZ, HYUNDAI, CHERY, GEELY, HAFEI, VORTEX ESTINA, BYD, GREAT WALL, MAZ, URAL, KAMAZ, SHAANXI, FAW vehicles. Reprogramming via the diagnostic connector is available for most ECUs. A distinctive feature of the loader is its high operating speed and exceptional reliability. The new version is protected by a senselock key to ensure protection against unauthorized use.

The program works with any K-Line adapter supporting 57600bps speed. To work with EDC7 / MS6.1 / EDC17ECUs you need a 24V K-Line adapter. To work with BOSCH 7.9.8 and M74 ECU via CAN, you need a Tactrix Openport 2.0 adapter.

Designed for chip tuning of vehicles equipped with MD1 ECUs (SHACMAN/HOWO). These ECUs are installed on MAZ, SHACMAN, and HOWO vehicles.

A 24V J2534 adapter is required to work with these ECUs.

Reading and programming of FLASH memory is supported via the controller's internal software (a method requiring no physical modification of the ECU). To perform operations on the vehicle via the CAN-1 bus (Pin 1: CAN-H; Pin 9: CAN-L), use a CAN2CAN adapter.

Openport 2.0

The OpenPort 2.0 is tuning tool hardware that is capable of communicating with a most OBDII compliant vehicles using a standard J2534 interface. Combined with EcuFlash software, the OpenPort 2.0 is capable of reflashing a large number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles. A USB cable is included with each OpenPort, which is all the hardware you will need unless you have one of the few vehicles that require a separate reflash adapter. For Subaru you will only need a reflash adapter for the 2001 through 2005 WRX, but not STi, unless you are working on an early non USDM STi in which case you may need one of our WRX adapters. No other Subaru vehicles require reflash adapters including Forester, Baja, Legacy, or naturally aspirated Impreza models. For Mitsubishi, you will need the adapter for most pre CAN vehicles which include the 5-9 Evo. Choose the adapter you need from the ’Reflash Adapters’ list below.

K-Line Ecutools v2 Adapter

K-line adapter is a data transmission device for connecting a vehicle ECU to a PC. It can be used for FADEC diagnostics and ECU reprogramming.

This adapter is a second generation device of our production and differs from the previous version by having a built-in galvanic separation. The device has reliable and time tested circuit engineering on FT232RL and L9637D. The adapter is integrated into the DB-25 connector case, has reverse polarity protection up to 2000V and equalizes potentials in case of high voltage allowing to protect the device from electric damage and electromagnetic interference. It can function at 9-28V with automatic K-line adjustment to power supply voltage.

The adapter pinout is completely unified with that one of SMS-Software adapters for more convenient working process. Cables are to be purchased separately.

It is fully compatible with PowerBox and tested with the following software: Chiploader by Chipsoft; ST10 Flasher, and with many other popular flashers.
